Suggestions
We suggest using JPG format for
photos and GIF format for graphics, line drawings, and cartoons. The
standard DPI (Dots Per Inch) for WebPages is either 72 or 96; for
screensavers and wallpaper it is 96 DPI. However, they can be
scanned at a larger DPI per your request. Our JPG scans are high
quality and saved with very low compression, making for a great
image that's perfect for printing or web sites!
Here are the formats typically
used for various applications:
-
Webpage formats are
generally JPG's or GIF's saved at 72 DPI.
-
Wallpaper /
Screensavers are generally BMP's or JPG's saved at
96 DPI.
-
If you are going to
print the images, we suggest that they be saved in
JPG or TIF format.
-
If your are printing
them at 300 DPI we will save them in 100 DPI and if
you are printing them at 600 DPI we will save them
at 150 DPI.
