It can't be touched, but it is there;
Your mind can't make your heart not care.
What started out as simple fun
Has brought two together and made them one.
Their minds thinking the exact same thing -
That a union could make their bodies sing.
For neither ever felt anything so deep,
Consuming their thoughts rather awake or asleep.
This pain in the heart is not from being broke;
It comes from the first time they spoke.
The stomach is tense making it hard to eat;
What her heart feels is a love so pure and sweet.
The mind tries to struggle to not give in
To remain in control yet again.
But the thoughts keep coming they never cease;
The feelings get deeper - not a moments peace.
And when they think no more can they feel,
Something happens that seems unreal.
The outside world's no longer there,
And if it is they just don't care.
They only want to be together
To love til the end, until forever.
And though for now there is nothing to do,
Except sit around and wait as two.
A day will come when they must meet;
Two become one with passion and heat.
With his words, her heart he'll touch.
Now they can say they love so much,
And look into each other's eyes.
She hopes he knows that when she cries
They're tears of joy from all that's inside
That she can show no longer to hide.
Any questions will fade when they unite;
All they feel will come into sight.
He asks will you marry me and she says yes
For it's what she wants she must confess
And for him to plant a seed this night
That in nine months will see the light.
And now their journey has just begun,
Their two hearts have created a lil one.
They will learn how to love and how to live
Never forgetting how important it is to give
Something as simple as a smile
To brighten each other's day if only for a lil while.
Though they may shed many tears
Throughout the months and through the years,
The good will overshadow the bad.
The love will be there that they've always had.
And forever in love the two shall be
