The moment my heart is to be silently awoken,
From the darkness it dwells in to keep it unbroken,
The wall I once built to keep me safe from all
around
Will no longer protect me as it crumbles to the
ground.
Now everything I learned, what I knew all along,
Pushes me to choose what is right over what is
wrong.
I slowly open up and you teach me how to trust,
And I begin to differentiate the meaning of love
and lust.
Listening as my heart tells me what I should
do.
I realize it isn't love or lust that is
drawing me to you.
Each of them are part of the passion unraveling
deep inside;
The power you posess still leaves me terrified.
I choose to stand beside you and overcome my
fears.
If in the end it's not meant to be, I know I'll
be left in tears.
But I take the greatest risk because it's
time I learn to fall,
And if you are there to catch me, it will truley
be worth it all.
